FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can apply for the SET Bootcamp program?
Any tech company, as long as they are based in Ukraine or targeted at it. We do not limit applicants based on the type of technology that can be scaled globally.
Also, we do not require the business to be a registered legal entity (LLC), but we may recommend that you establish an LLC during the program.
Are there additional requirements for the team to participate in SET Bootcamp?
Any number of founders can be included. However, the founding team must have experience in the technical field/science/engineering, marketing/product development, and business presentation to potential partners/investors. Despite the fact that one person can perform all these tasks, it is quite rare. Therefore, we encourage teams consisting of two or more founders, but we consider all applications without exception.
Will you invest in my startup?
No, we will not invest in the businesses. However, we will work to bring investors and other funds (from Ukraine and internationally) to evaluate businesses for investment.
If I have only an MVP and a bunch of hypotheses, can I apply?
We are looking for startup businesses, but we recognize that startups come in different stages. SET University considers companies at any stage: from the minimum viable product or prototype, to increasing market share or seeking to raise capital.
What does the program look like?
SET Bootcamp will last approximately three weeks (including holidays and other schedule changes) in an online format. The founders of the selected teams must attend all educational programs and weekly lectures. The educational blocks include:
1. Weekly lectures/trainings/mentoring programs, from 9:30 to 17:00 EEST.
2. Group projects, workshops, and practical assignments. Each team presents the results at checkpoints (as part of the selection for pitching).
How do you select startups?
The selection is based on an open competition. Each team/project/etc. fills out an application form, and based on this information, a team of Ukrainian and international experts makes a decision on the project’s admission.
We encourage you to fill out the application form in accordance with all the requirements and provide comprehensive information.
