How Generation H: Ideathon Went

18 / 11 / 24

We recently concluded Generation H: Ideathon—a free educational program for anyone looking to create a tech project in the healthcare sector. The ideathon was open to everyone, regardless of whether they had a startup or even an idea.

Over these five days, participants were able to enhance their skills, expand their network, and improve their own projects with the support of industry experts. The results exceeded the jury’s expectations—instead of one winning team, four innovative products made it to the final.

Players Get Ready: A popular psychological game ready to conquer the UK market. During the ideathon, the product team assessed the market, identified competitors, and prepared a roadmap.

CareWay: A product focused on the reproductive health of Ukrainians. Every year, 200,000 couples face reproductive challenges that can lead to depression. The team is developing an app that offers comprehensive support for couples on their journey to becoming parents.

ReproMilitary: A team exploring a pressing issue for Ukrainians—building a family during wartime. In the future, approximately 300,000 military personnel may face infertility. The project’s mission is to provide service members with access to information and support to preserve their reproductive health through the conservation of reproductive cells.

MindShip: With 72.4% of people with anxiety disorders not receiving treatment, those experiencing chronic stress and anxiety often don’t know how to help themselves in critical situations. The MindShip app is an AI-driven platform offering breathing exercises personalized based on over 30 data points. The team developed a demo platform that analyzes key stress factors, gathers user information (including breathing patterns), and provides a personalized plan to address the issue.

Congratulations to the teams on their victory! The next stage is Generation H: Bootcamp, an intensive two-week program where participants will further develop their products. At the end of the bootcamp, participants will attend DemoDay—the final event where startups present their ideas to investors and future partners, and compete for a $5,000 grant.
