Memorandum of Cooperation with the Polish University UKEN

11 / 6 / 24

On February 27, we signed a memorandum under which we will disrupt education in the field of cybersecurity together with the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow.

As part of the partnership, we will address academic challenges in cybersecurity. For example, we have already held a cybersecurity conference, PNTPC.

"Cybersecurity is still perceived by many as something extremely remote and specialized. Most educational programs are built around outdated standards and do not consider components of social engineering, artificial intelligence, and case studies of unique cyberattack scenarios. The fundamental principle of SET University remains quality and industry-relevant education. Therefore, we are joining forces with colleagues from UKEN to enhance expertise in cybersecurity and engage the best instructors in developing educational programs,"
said Iryna Volnytska, President of SET University.

Under the memorandum, SET University and UKEN plan to conduct scientific projects dedicated to information and cybersecurity. Experts from both institutions will participate in developing and improving existing programs, as well as in organizing hackathons and technical projects.

The University of the National Education Commission (Uniwersytet Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie) is the first pedagogical university in post-war Poland.

UKEN’s approach is integrated education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The university’s mission is supported by scientific research and development in accordance with the highest European standards in the humanities and natural sciences.
