New partnership: SET × EIT
19 / 7 / 24On May 22 we joined the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative becoming the 180th pledger (volunteer member).
The Deep Tech Talent Initiative is a pioneering program by the European Institute of Technology and Innovation (EIT). In line with the European Commission’s New European Innovation Agenda, the EIT will close the talent gap by upskilling 1 million people within deep tech fields until 2025.
Deep tech innovations are built at the intersection of science and engineering in the physical, biological, and digital fields to solve the most pressing global challenges.
As a member of EIT, we commit to the following
— Developing and providing education and training opportunities within deep tech;
— Sharing information on deep tech recruitment and skillset needs;
— Supporting the deep tech training process through financial resources and other opportunities.
Besides, we plan to launch a cybersecurity startup, based on SET University in partnership with top American experts with academy, government, and business backgrounds (CIA, Tesla, Uber).
The project aims to develop an effective system for monitoring and responding to cybersecurity incidents, initially targeted at educational institutions. The operational growth will open jobs primarily for students in our Cybersecurity program, providing learning through practical experience. Share of profits will be allocated to scholarships for students, and the development of education. According to our main goal, we plan to continue bringing opportunities to Ukraine, such as creating local businesses, attracting foreign investments, and establishing a technological hub.
