Launch of the cybersecurity podcast “Gugl ne rozkazhe (“Google won’t tell”)”

14 / 7 / 23
"Google won't tell" is a Ukrainian podcast about cyber security for trainees and juniors, in which we analyze the eternal questions: which course to choose? how to switch from juns to middles? where to look for a job? how to assemble a team for a startup?

“Google will not tell” is a joint project of the SET University Community tech community and Svyatoslav Login, Head of QA at EVO. In it, invited experts tell about cyber security what Google and ChatGPT do not know.

"From time to time I am asked for advice on what to listen to about cyber security in Ukrainian. It turned out that there was nothing to advise, because the podcasts I listened to had already closed. There is a demand - there is also a product, so the idea appeared to release such a podcast on our own. Shortly before that, he joined the SET University tech community and met their community manager, Yaroslav. They quickly wrote down the concept and agreed to record the first test release. It seems that something interesting is coming out", -
comments Svyatoslav Login, podcast co-author and Head of QA in EVO

In the first season of the podcast, up to 10 issues are planned, in particular, on such topics as:

  • education in cyber security
  • looking for a first job
  • certification from scratch
  • switch in cyber security
  • information security in companies
  • participation in cyber competitions.

The first issue has already been released – about education in cyber security. It analyzed whether it is necessary to be able to program in order to work in the field of cyber security, whether there are chances to get a job without a diploma in a technical speciality, and how to choose a normal course.
